The National Recognition Program is a
self-paced, individualized program in which all
HOSA members can participate. Members have the
opportunity to move through four levels of tasks:
- Helper (Level I)
- Organizer (Level II)
- Specialist (Level III)
- Achiever (Level IV)
At each level, members are given a set of tasks
that test the organizational knowledge and
leadership skills in four areas: leadership
development, career development, community service,
and personal development. A recognition certificate
is awarded upon satisfactorily completing the tasks
at each level. Those who complete all four levels
will be recognized at the National Leadership
Conference. States will recognize those members who
complete three levels of tasks.
